The local Igler mountain Patscherkofel is a 2,246 m high summit which you can reach by foot on the beautiful hiking path or with the Patscherkofel train. Idyllic mountain huts flank the path to the top. Whether you are a hobby hiker or mountain climber—the area around the Sporthotel offers sporty activities for big and small. Mountain climbing, nature trails, summer toboggan runs and tennis are just a few examples of the variety of options available to our guests.

The Patscherkofel is a perfect destination all year round. In the summer, the local Igler mountain offers not only a breathtaking view, but also countless hiking opportunities and resting points.

Riding
The REITARENA INNSBRUCK-IGLS is located close to the Patcherkofel train valley station, with a riding hall, outside riding arena and an extensive bridal path network around Igls and its neighbouring villages.

Tennis
The tennis facility of the Igls Parkclub is located in the idyllic Igls spa gardens at the foot of the Patscherkofel. There are 9 sand courts (3 of which are floodlit) available for members and guests. With the beautiful mountain scenery, it’s the perfect place to get away from day to day stress or spend a great time with the family.
Golf
Our partner golf course, the 9 hole Igls Olympia Golf and Country Club, is located just a few minutes from the Sporthotel Igls. You can look forward to special offers here as a hotel guest.
